Since not everyone going around Furcadia these days is an old fart like me, I have to list these all out. Even the ones that "we KNOW already, gosh!" Sorry, but them's the breaks. OoC - This is a teen+ dream. Occasional cursing is fine, but there will be no gratuitous f-bombs.
- Same goes for highly descriptive gore. A little blood here and there is fine, just don't go into detail or take it to whispers.
- THERE WILL BE NO PUBLIC YIFFING/SEX. NONE! If you REALLY need to play out a mating scene past "fade-to-black," take it to whispers. You WILL be caught and you WILL be temp-banned, or even perma-banned if you keep at it.
- Let's keep things civil in OoC and not talk openly about issues that you or others might be sensitive about (i.e. religion, sex, drugs, gore, etc). If someone starts talking about this, report them to me (on Furc or on the forum) and DO NOT RESPOND.
- Please try not to feed trolls. When a newcomer comes to inspect the dream, and the bot or I are AFK, you will essentially be representing the dream. Give us a good name.
- If there is a fight between two dream members or between one of the dream members and somone on Furc elsewhere, I will have no trash-talking. How do you know one of the people listening doesn't know them? That's how drama starts. NOT IN MY HOUSE!
- Possibly more dry, boring stuff to come if it comes up.

General IC - Once out of the fenced in OoC area, you are IC. Please stick to whispers as much as you can for OoC chatter, but if the message applies to everyone ("thanks for the rp, guys," "gotta go," etc) then use brackets.
- This dream is consent only, but please be realistic. A dog who's guts are on the ground isn't going to survive long in a world without antibiotics and humans. That said, please do not attack other players with moves that would clearly, realistically, kill their character unless they have given you EXPLICIT consent.
- Please remain within the dream's plot-line. I know this will be difficult for some fantasy characters, but I'm sure you'll find a way to make it work. If you need ideas, whisper Scrap City, Kanaille, or Wilfreda (all me) for suggestions.
- When in the Eldhundar's territory, your normal dog character and Jotunhundr character will both feel sweltering heat, with the ground almost surely burning their paws with each step. There will be no "my character's too tough, he toughs it out." He might emotionally be able to man up, but his body won't. Expect burns and heat exhaustion.
- Inversely, normal dogs (save for those built for snow, like Huskies and Malamutes) and Eldhundar will quickly catch hypothermia and may experience freezer burns. Eldhundar basically become immobilized by the pain in their joints in cool weather, so they stay clear of it as much as they can.
Character Creation - All non-extinct canine breeds are playable. Foreign species must have a logical explanation for why they are in South Florida. Did they escape from a zoo? Perhaps came from a different plane of the Nine Worlds of Norse myth? Magical teleportation is basically a cop-out and is frowned upon as an explanation.
- Main fur colors cannot be anything obnoxiously bright. Please try to stick to realism as much as you can. I know Furc's color choices are terrible, but you could have a link to a ref with your actual colors and just have the avatar wear the closest equivalent.
- Markings can be any color you want, and any shape. Dogs and wolves with crazy markings will be seen as descendants of Eldhundar or Jotunhundar.
- Accessories like collars, tags, mechanical limbs, bandanas, ear-studs, chains, eye-patches and cuffs are fine if they're secured. Keep in mind that leather and cloth quickly deteriorates when not cleaned regularly.
- Accessories like bracelets, dangly necklaces, hoop earrings, other jewelry similar to this, sweat bracelets, capes, or clothing are NOT allowed. They make no sense. Stop it.
- Those wishing to play a Jotunhundr or Eldhundr must understand at least basic lore (unless they're very young characters) and MUST stay within the specified race appearances. Mixed breeds can, of course, look much different and have colors not usual for the race.
